The Challenge
Students are at a critical crossroads. Something has to be done to inspire and prepare today's youth for success in tomorrow's global workforce. They need to acquire more real-world skills. They need to gain an understanding of how to adapt their knowledge to a constantly changing job market. They need to learn how to push their personal boundaries of creativity and innovation.
There is a twofold challenge that everyone - corporations, foundations, private donors, educators, parents and Learning Forum International - must address. The two key questions are:
- What can be done to create this shift in students?
- How do we impact enough children; how do we achieve critical mass?
THE SOLUTION
Learning Forum International has a solution. We know that students who are taught by Quantum Learning-trained teachers achieve positive results in school and in their personal lives in such areas as motivation, confidence and self-esteem.
Quantum Learning school programs are now in over 30 states in the U.S. and have expanded to Asia, Latin America, and Europe. Test scores of students consistently improve following the application of Quantum Learning skills and techniques. Teachers trained in Quantum Learning report remarkable results when they integrate Quantum Learning methods into their classrooms:
- 100% say they are more effective teachers
- 94% are more aware of student learning styles and needs
- 86% have more meaningful connections with students
Quantum Learning Network's SuperCamp summer program, which uses the same Quantum Learning teaching and learning methods, has graduated over 48,000 students in 26 years. Numerous independent studies document the successes in the students' grades, attitudes and feelings of self-worth.
We believe that Quantum Learning can make a significant impact on solving this education crisis. Training as many teachers as possible in Quantum Learning methods will create an exponential spread in motivated, inspired, skilled students capable of competing and thriving on a global level.
To address the challenge, Learning Forum International has created Mission 2012, an initiative to train 100,000 teachers in Quantum Learning by 2012. To learn more about what you can do to help, click here
